Horstmann Hrfs1 Programmable Room Thermostat Installation Manual
Hi there!
My new wireless Horstmann HRFS1 Wireless Thermostat arrived yesterday, and I would like to attempt to fit it myself to my Halstead Ace High Combi boiler.
I'm no expert, but am a have-a-go diyer(!), so I am fairly confident about doing this, but just want to ask a few questions from the experts! :)
Firstly, I am pretty sure that I need to go for the Diagram 2 install on page 10 of the Horstmann manual (page 6 of the attached PDF) - volt free (please tell me if I have got this wrong! I read this from page 17 of the Halstead manual, also attached - page 19 of the PDF)
Secondly, based on this I know that I need to connect L and N to the mains (for which I am simply going to connect to a plug as this is how the boiler is plugged in as well - having read another post I believe I need a 3 amp fuse - correct??)
So, based on what I have read so far, I believe that I need to connect COM and NO to the boiler's L1 and L3, again tell me if I am wrong! But, I am not sure at the moment which I need to connect to which. Can you shed any light on this for me, please, as I don't want to connect it the wrong way round and find I have blown anything?!
Many thanks in advance for any help and advice you can give.

I've decided to replace my Drayton Digistat 3 programmable room thermostat with a wireless Horstmann HRFS1 Programmable Room Thermostat. Currently the. Black widow comic book character. CM907 7 Day Programmable Thermostat The CM907 is a 7 day Programmable Room Thermostat. It is designed to provide automatic time and temperature control of domestic heating or cooling systems in domestic or light commercial premises. The slim, ultra modern design complements the extra large LCD screen with the Line of Text (LoT) display.
